Avengers: Infinity War is an unstoppable monster hit, and it looks as though it set a few records on the way.
To no one’s surprise, Avengers: Infinity War was the top film this weekend in every country it opened in. Domestically it took in $250M and globally it sits at $630M. This gives it the biggest opening weekend ever, the highest Saturday and the biggest opening for a Marvel film
A Quiet Place came in second with $10.65M for a new domestic total of $148.17M off of a $17M budget. Globally it sits at $235.37M.
Third place went to I Feel Pretty with $8.13M for a new domestic total of $29.57M off of a $32M budget.
Rampage slipped down to fourth place with $7.1M for a new domestic total of $77.93M. Globally it sits at $334.63M off of a $120M budget.
Rounding out the top five saw Black Panther creep back into the top five. The Marvel film took in $4.38M for a new domestic total of $688M and globally sits at $1.331B.
This week has no wide releases, just some limited ones. Don’t expect much to change.
