Avengers: Infinity War had another massive weekend, but it missed a record.
To no one’s surprise, Avengers: Infinity War was the top film this weekend, but it came in second for second weekends. Domestically it took in $112.47M bringing its domestic total to $450.8M. Globally it now sits at $1.16B. As for the second weekend record, that belongs to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There goes Disney beating Disney again.
The Overboard remake opened in second place with $14.75M.
Third place went to A Quiet Place with $7.6M for a new domestic total of $159.89M off of a $17M budget. Globally it sits at $255.29M.
I Feel Pretty came in fourth with $4.9M for a new domestic total of $37.79M off of a $32M budget.
Fifth place went to Rampage with $4.62M for a new domestic total of $84.79M. Globally it sits at $377.89M off of a $120M budget.
This week will see the releases of Breaking In and Life of the Party. Don’t expect much to change.
