Press credentials for #toyfair came in last night. Here we go again, folks.
A new benchmark has been set for animated films thanks to Incredibles 2.
The top spot at the box office this week went to Incredibles 2 with $180M, and globally sits at $231.5M. This was the largest opening weekend ever for an animated film.
Ocean’s 8 slid 53 percent to take in $19.55M and land in second place. It now stands at $79.17M domestically and $116.27M globally off of a $70M budget.
Third place went to Tag with $14.6M off of a $28M budget.
Solo: A Star Wars Story landed in fourth place with $9.08M. The film now sits at $192.84M domestically and globally sits at $339.54M.
Rounding out the top five was Deadpool 2 $8.8M for a new domestic total of $294.68M domestically and $689.54M globally off of a $110M budget.
This week will see the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
