Equalizer 2 took the top spot this weekend surprising just about everyone. The Denzel Washington action film took in $35.82M off of a $62M budget.
Second place went to Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! with $34.38M off of a $75M budget.
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation took the third spot this weekend with $23.15M for a new domestic total of $91M and a global total of $144M off of an $80M budget.
Fourth place went to Ant-Man and the Wasp with $16.12M. The new domestic total sits at $164.62M and $353.52M globally.
Incredibles 2 rounded out the top five with $11.52M. It now sits at $557.33M in the U.S. and globally it has hit $940.43M.
