Mission: Impossible – Fallout Wins a Second Weekend

Yet another sequel scored the top spot this weekend. Who needs originality? (Yes, I said the same thing four weeks now…)

Mission: Impossible – Fallout took the top spot this weekend with $35M, dropping 42.8 percent from its opening weekend. Domestically it now sits at $124.48M and globally it has hit $329.48M off of a $178M budget.

Second place went to Disney’s Chrisopher Robin which took in $25M.

The Spy Who Dumped Me opened in third place to $12.35M off of a $40M budget.

Fourth place went to Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! with $9.09M for a new domestic total of $91.33M and a global total of $230.53M off of a $75M budget.

Equalizer 2 came in fifth with $8.83M for a new domestic total of $79.88M and globally sits at $87.58M off of a $62M budget.

This week’s releases include Dog Days, BlacKkKlansman, The Meg, and Slender Man.
