Shamelessly plugging my own work about Batman buff.ly/2WnReh3
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill and Warner Brothers have parted ways meaning a new Superman is going to be needed. The report was later confirmed by Umberto Gonzalez of The Wrap.
Apparently, this is a move by Warner Brothers to focus on the upcoming Supergirl movie. It is also suggested that the studio is trying to reset the DCEU at least partially. With Gal Gadot currently filming Wonder Woman 1984, and her solo film being the most successful yet, there is little chance of her being removed any time soon.
Honestly… good riddance. He was never right for the part. I never bought him in the part and I’ll be quite happy to see someone else try to tackle the last son of Krypton. Tyler Hoechlin plays him in The CW shows right now, and he is way more believable in the part.
Let the hunt begin for an all-new Superman.
