It’s episode 11… and it’s mostly for all the new people…
- Lots of new readers this week, and possibly some new listeners, so a bit of a catch up on who I am and what this blog is about. All of this brought about due to that James Bond post.
- Comments, comments, comments… I need feedback folks!

- More Microsoft ranting about their ad campaign and how they don’t know what they’re doing from their ivory tower.
- Financial woes of the world and how I think they came about and how they will end up impacting everyone in a spider-web fashion.

It’s episode 9… and a return of me coughing about halfway through I’m afraid.
Besides the voice issues, this week is about the following:
- When is Microsoft just going to admit they messed up with Vista as opposed to just throwing money at people to convince them to accept it?
- A very short bit on why the new iPods disappointed me so much and what it may mean for the future.
- Hardware, hardware, hardware. It’s developing so fast, how does anyone keep up with it? Should you? How do you keep yourself educated?

Welcome back for the seventh episode of Scattercast!
Yes, it’s another episode of just me talking, sorry folks. This week I go off about being passionate about things and explaining some of the process behind how I choose my topics for my blog and how it all relates back to my passions on various subjects. I think it’s more interesting than it sounds once you listen to it, but that’s up to all of you to judge. Let e know what you think, and leave comments about the show in general!

Welcome back for the sixth episode of Scattercast!
Just one subject this week, and it’s all about where I get inspiration. I ramble a bit, but it stays mainly on the focus of how I get inspired to write so many blog posts a week. Here, StarterTech or Mashable, all of those stories have to be inspired somehow! Oh… and some random Olympics and Scientology thoughts.

Welcome back for the fifth episode of Scattercast!
A little bit of everything this week, folks! The United States is falling behind in Internet speeds still, and it angers me. Some more rambling about the summer Olympics and the last segment deals with my thoughts on this year’s upcoming iPods. A true Scattercast!

Welcome back for the fourth episode of Scattercast!
This week I brought on Mark “Rizzn” Hopkins that I work with over at Mashable, and he has his own blog at Rizzn.com. Mark has been involved with podcasting for years, so we have a nice discussion about the history of the format, why it’s become popular and where he sees it going in the years to come. He’s probably forgotten more about the format than most people have ever even known, so it’s an interesting look into the thoughts of one of the biggest advocates of this style of chat show.

Welcome back to the second episode of Scattercast! I hope you all enjoyed the first one, because the second one is far better, I feel! Here is what you can look forward to this week.
Intro – Me taking care of some housekeeping of the podcast.
29:30 M and I review The Dark Knight. Instead of the normal surly review by me, I bring in my best friend, M, to help with the review, and temper my opinion some.
Wrap-up of the show and info on subscribing and what is to come next week at the end of the show.

Boy has the learning curve on this been steep, but here is the first episode of my podcast, “Scattercast”. Many, many thanks to Mark Hopkins for cutting the learning curve for me considerably, and thanks to my friend Renee for coming up with the name. For those who want to why the name “Scattercast”, it refers to the subject matter being scattered.
New episodes will be posted on Fridays, and will always be posted here. If you want to subscribe to an RSS of just the podcast, you can do so here. I have also submitted the series to iTunes, but not sure when it will show up over there.
This episode is about how and when movies become profitable, and how I think allowing Eddie Murphy to star in any movie is pretty much a bad idea now.
