Jeff Probst

Well, I salute Mark Burnett, he got me to pay attention to Survivor Gautemala finally this week. We started off learning that even though Nakum had the better camp, they were suffering from mosquitoes, heat and just being miserable. While Yaxha seemed relaxed in comparisson with just spending their time by the water catching minnows.… read more

Survivor Gautemala is just NOT catching me like past Survivors for some reason. The survivors just don’t seem that interesting this time, and for the first time, I am having trouble keeping stright who is who even! Yikes! We started off with the ravings of Brian about how he had maneuvered the vote from Lydia… read more

Survivor Gautemala Episode 2

So we are two weeks into Survivor Gautemala and….I’m failry bored. Nakum won reward , which was fishing gear. Blake was still moping about due to his arm. Immunity was a tug-of-war in the mudd and Nakum won, sending Yaxha to tribal council. There was some brief discussion of sending Stephanie home, but in the… read more

Survivor Gautemala Episode 1

Time for another season of Jeff Probst running the Survivor’s through their paces. This time we are whisked off to Gautemala, and the ruins of the Mayan empire. The big opening twist was as the two new tribes (Nakum, who wears blue, and Yaxha, who wears yellow) met with Jeff, they were told they were… read more

Well, Survivor Palau is over, and what an ending! The final four consisted of Ian, Jenn, Katie and Tom, and backstabbing flew! Ian told Katie and Jenn that if Tom lost immunity, they should vote him out. Well….he won. So good-bye Jenn. But on her way out, she let it be known what Ian had… read more

Wow…this is turning into one of the more “No clue who will win” Survivor’s in quite awhile. Everyone has a target on them, and it is all going to come down to immunities. So everyone was still jumping around from last weeks alliance shifts. Ian and Tom were uncertain what Caryn’s new plan was. Katie… read more

I thought Survivor was going to be boring with the departure of Stephanie last week, but boy was I wrong! Reward challange at this stage of the show always is interesting because it starts to give you insight to the pecking order of who will go first. So in a traditional “knock your tribe mates… read more

Well what can you say? Reward was the always fun auction, just wish there had been more bad “prizes”. Was a little too easy on them I think. Immunity was just boring. Break ceramic tiles *yawn* Ian won, good for him…whatever. The heartbreak though, in a vote of 6-to-1, my Stephanie was banished….I really can’t… read more

Pretty good episode. Reward challange was nice to see them making the tribe fight each other for the reward. Always good to split up the power, make them question each other. The real drama was in the immunity challange. Nifty will power challange with the first person out being deserted for a night on an… read more

Poor Stephanie…all alone on the Ulong beach. Seriouslly, I know that sounded sarcastic, but I felt for her. Of anyone in her tribe, she fought the hardest. She was very deserving to be the last of her tribe. Mark Burnett didn’t keep her byherself for too long, he had her go join Koror. They seemingly… read more

How? Someone just please tell me how a tribe can lose every single immunity challange. I am thrilled Stephanie survied the lame “start a fire” challange to decide which would leave, but beyond that….what a painful, painful episode. Oh, and Tom…don’t give orders you dumbass.… read more

This has become in exercise in pain each week. Koror killed a shark and found the biggest clam I’ve ever seen. They are eating like kings. They also won the reward challange so they got food from that also. They are eating better than some people I know stateside with a job! Immunity…well…immunity was just… read more
